NEW HAVEN, Conn. - Travis Pinick, who averaged an Ivy League best 8.9 rebounds in Ivy games, and Ross Morin, who shot a league-best 64.2 percent from the field in Ivy games, were both named second team All-Ivy on Wednesday.
Pinick, a junior, was one of only two players to appear in all 28 games for the Bulldogs. He led the team in rebounding (6.7 rpg.), was second in steals (48) and assists (60) and was fourth in scoring (7.7 rpg.). In 14 Ivy games, Pinick averaged 8.9 points and had a league-best 29 steals. In Yale's road sweep of Dartmouth and Harvard, he averaged 14.0 points and 16.5 rebounds. Against the Big Green, he pulled down a career-high 19 rebounds.
Morin, a junior, led Yale in scoring (11.8 ppg.) in Ivy games. Overall, he was second on the team in scoring (10.2 ppg.) and rebounding (5.4 rpg.). Morin was named the Ivy League Player of the Week after scoring 24 points and grabbing seven rebounds in a home victory over Brown in January.
The Bulldogs finished the season with a 13-15 overall record and were 7-7 in Ivy play.
