Connor showed great improvement this season. He moved up in the line-up from #5 last season to #3 and improved his record while doing so. He had the best Ivy League singles record on the team going 5-2. He also had the second most overall singles victories at 19. In doubles, Connor moved up to the #2 position and posted a winning mark of 11-10.

For his accomplishments Connor was awarded the George A. Phelps '95 Memorial Award for the most improved player.

Connor sprained his wrist at the beginning of the spring of his freshman year and missed the first part of the season. However, he worked his way back to the #5 singles position where he went 9-7. He finished the year strong in doubles going 8-3 with Mike Caldwell in the #3 position.

Freshman year Connor was an ITA Scholar-Athlete Award recipient.

At his highest, Connor has been ranked among the top 50 nationally in the 18 & under division prior to coming to Yale. He is a former Midwest Closed Champion at which he also won the Sportsmanship Award. He was the Salutatorian of his class at St. Francis High School.
