Josh had an impressive junior year campaign. He played primarily in the #6 singles and the #1 doubles spot. During the team's two week spring break trip to southern California Josh posted a team best 5-1 singles record. In doubles, he teamed with Calvin Bennett and earned Second Team All-Ivy Honors, and end the year with a regional ranking of #9.
As a sophomore, Josh posted a 17-12 record at #2 doubles with Jeff Dawson. In singles he went 8-10 playing mostly at #5 & #6 singles.
Freshman year, Josh finished ranked #10 with Brandon Wai in the Northeast Regional rankings. Josh's freshman season was cut short by a case of mononucleosis, but not before he built an 8-7 singles record.
In 2006 Josh finished in the top 5 of the West Region of the ITA Summer Circuit.
Josh has received the ITA Scholar-Athlete Award (3.5 GPA) for the past three years.
Josh has had a high level of success before coming to Yale in both singles and doubles. He reached a ranking of #11 in the nation in doubles and #57 in the nation in singles in the 18 & under division. He graduated from Harvard Westlake School.
